Our Board of Directors and volunteers are equipped to build programs that are proven to be successful within the community. We are eager to spread awareness, motivate and train individuals within West Alabama and East Mississippi.
LaKisha Sewell
I am the Founder and President of Strive Outreach. I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor in Sociology. Currently, I am the Program Coordinator at a Rehabilitative Day Program. Also, I am an author, a certified CPR and Early First Aid Instructor, and Licensed Cosmetologist.
Cynthia Sewell
I am the Marengo County Community Awareness Director of Strive Outreach. I am currently a Medical Coder and Billing Specialist in Demopolis, AL. I am in charge of accurately translating patient information from a healthcare provider and transfering it into an alpha numeric code.
Melinda Green
I am the Tuscaloosa and Hale County Community Awareness Director of Strive Outreach. I have been working for 10 years as a mental health professional. Currently, I serve as Director of Youth Ministry. I am a striving poet, motivational speaker, and an advocate for Leucoderma (Vitiligo) .
DeAndrae R. Sewell I
I am the Vice President and Educator of Strive Outreach . I have a Masters in Guidance and Counseling, Bachelor in History, and Associate in Political Science. I taught History for 5 years in the Public School System. Currently, I am a Counselor and Family Marriage and Relationship Educator in Tuscaloosa, AL.
